Hoggetowne Medival Fair

Once upon a time in a kingdom far far away lived a young boy by the name of Clifford. Clifford was a good boy strong and loyal He greatest dream was to become s\a servant of the king.So when he heard the king would be passing through his small village he knew just what he had to do. He dressed in his finest attire and headed out to meet the king.He had only walked a mile or so when he passed through the gates of his small town known as hoggetowne there upon the wall standing guard where the royal guards to the king.

As he slowly passed through he was quickly accosted by two thief's widely know as "Just" and "case". the team of Just n case were known for the great acts of thievery to the throne and so Clifford was sure to walk pass as quickly as possible only to then be tempted by the great sorcery's of the silly witches of Hoggetowne. He was taken in by their slight tricks of the hand but soon he realized he must escape and move on and so he did.

He continue his journey through the village coming into contact with other citizens like the great Marvin who could make a pin roll on string, the old twins known as Ima and Ura Lady and finally running into George the gentle giant.

Finally Clifford came upon the merchant he was seeking the great sword maker Sully. There he purchase the weapons and armory he word need to serve the king. Once dressed for battle he headed off in search for the King himself. it wasn't long before he came upon the king's tent and while the guards where distracted he slipped up to the throne to speak to the king and queen themselves. After telling his tale of great adventure the King was so impressed he asked him to join his royal guard and so Clifford was dubbed Sir Clifford and became a Knight. to which the queen bestow a great gift upon him. From that day forward Sir Clifford has served the King loyal and true.

Every time I come across one of these fair's, the first thing that pops into my head is Jim Carrey in Cable Guy. I do want to check one out sometime. I used to read Medival literature but like most things I enjoy, I get bored easily and move on to the next temporary hobby. Good post Becca. Good story.
