of the child playing in
the waves upon the shore

sun that caressed my skin

That's beautiful. It reminds me of the book I'm reading called It's All Relative by S.C. Stephens. This poem would go perfectly as the Prologue to this book.

This reminds me of how sometimes when I think of my Dad (who passed away) his favorite song will come on the radio or I will come across a picture I hadn't seen in a long time. Beautiful poem Becca! Blessings, Joanne
