Stranger

sitting upon the shore
watching the waves crash forth
i think of how we use to be
and sadness washes over me
we use to be so happy and free
now we barely even speak
what happen to the love we shared
kisses,touches, warm embrace
now a stranger is in his place

I know I always say how much I admire your words Becca, but this one was special, and I really liked it very much. This is the sort of thing that happens to so many of us, and it is very sad really :(

I think most of us have been there or are standing in this spot right now. Can time be love's worst enemy?

The ocean waves bring up these memories and these feelings, there's something mystical about it

So sad and beautiful at the same time. The shore and waves always make me think, it's the place I go to clear my head.

Although it's always a little more grey that in this photo and I'm usually wearing a waterproof jacket, hat and scarf!

@jade sitting by the water is always peaceful

@thenitefalls beautifully said

Other people said that this was sad, but I got happy. Why? Because I'm extremely glad that my ex-boyfriends turned into strangers, that's why. When they did, I regained my sanity!! Woohooo!!!
