Thursday's Thoughts

Moonlight dances on the clear black stage
beckoning me sweetly with it's soft embrace
Come forth to me and set it all free
let my touch wash away it all
slowly I approach letting go of my will
floating in a sea of warmth
as each touch erases the hurt
I slip from the dark into the light
knowing by morning nothing will ever be right

I know poetry is up for interpretation, but it made me sad. It's as tho' the author is committing suicide.

Sad. But it is your poem. What does it mean?

Wow. That is amazing. There are times I wish I could disappear into that soft light and never face what I know will come in the morning and you captured that BEAUTIFULLY! Well done. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely words Becca, but sad too. I found the last two lines particularly poignant. (Love your Thursday's Thoughts!!).

@queer heaven thank you

@According to Jewels thank you it would be nice if we could just wash away all the bad stuff but i guess we have to learn to deal instead

Becca--

Really gripping stuff! Sleep may heal, but it never cures ones ills. THAT, of course, only comes with forgiveness.

Forgive, for you can't go back
Forgive, for with forgiveness comes peace
Forgive, for it's divine
Forgive, for judgement day comes all too soon

I wish you forgiveness for your past and hope for your future--

Rafa

Our nights always seem to be brighter than our days.
I know... I feel there is a logic behind all that we are going through! We can touch it only by "letting go of our will"
Thank you and take care.
Hugs
