True or False

Source

so yesterday i told you i received the memetastic award from Chief and with it i had to tell five things about myself but only one could be true. So here we go answering the question as to what was true and what wasn't.

1. i once took a train from Florida to New York.
This is false i have never been to NY but it is on my bucket list of places to visit so i hope to make this true one day.

2. in high school i was voted most likely to succeed.
Again false in high school i was never voted anything. i try very hard to be invisible by hanging in the library.

3. As a child i had a pet cow.
this is true her name was Pumpkin and i spent hours in the barn with her. she was a very sweet old cow.

4. I was named after the character in the book titled "Rebecca from Sunnybrook Farm"
as you guessed by now this is false. in truth the man who is my DNA donor decided it would be funny to name me after the woman he was screwing while mom was in labor. needless to say he is now her EX.

5. I have been on a cruise to the Bahamas
this is false as i have a natural fear of the ocean or any deep body of water. I am trying to overcome this fear by slowly taking short boat rides here and there but the thought on being on a cruise line in the middle of the ocean still terrifies the hell out of me.

Thursday

It's hard to believe that the weekend is almost here or that we are already in February where oh where does the time go these days. I remember as a child thinking i would never grow up and that time was slower then a turtle crossing the street and now well it seems all i have to do is blink and a whole week goes by sometimes even a month.i want to slow time down wish it was the slow turtle again instead of this fast flying bird.

in other news today i have kindly received the Memetastic award From Chief over at unsound reasoning's so thank you very much.

This award is unique in that you must tell five things about yourself however the catch is only one can be true it is then your job to guess the truth. so a girl gets to tell a few little white lies and get away with it how fun is that.

1. i once took a train from Florida to New York

2. In high school i was voted most likely to succeed

3. As a child i had a pet cow

4. I was named after the character in the book titled "Rebecca from Sunnybrook Farm"

5. I have been on a cruise to the Bahamas

And now to pass the love on.

1. 10minutes2breathe

2. Never Growing Old

3. This and That

He dressed in his finest attire and headed out to meet the king.He had only walked a mile or so when he passed through the gates of his small town known as hoggetowne there upon the wall standing guard where the royal guards to the king.

As he slowly passed through he was quickly accosted by two thief's widely know as "Just" and "case". the team of Just n case were known for the great acts of thievery to the throne and so Clifford was sure to walk pass as quickly as possible only to then be tempted by the great sorcery's of the silly witches of Hoggetowne. All I Ever Really Needed to Know I Learned in Kindergarten

With all the things happening in our world today it got me thinking about a passage that was written by Robert Fulghum. In the passage he makes note to the fact that everything he needed to know about how to live came from nursery school so i thought why not share this because in truth if you really think about it we did learn everything we needed to know back when nap time and playing where our biggest enjoyment.

All I Ever Really Needed to Know I Learned in Kindergarten
- by Robert Fulghum

Most of what I really need to know about how to live, and what to do, and how to be, I learned in Kindergarten. Wisdom was not at the top of the graduate school mountain, but there in the sandbox at nursery school.

These are the things I learned: Share everything. Play fair. Don't hit people. Put things back where you found them. Clean up your own mess. Don't take things that aren't yours. Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody. Wash your hands before you eat. Flush. Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you. Live a balanced life. Learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work some every day.

Take a nap every afternoon. When you go out into the world, watch for traffic, hold hands, and stick together. Be aware of wonder. Remember the little seed in the plastic cup. The roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody really knows how or why, but we are all like that.

Goldfish and hamsters and white mice and even the little seed in the plastic cup - they all die. So do we.

And then remember the book about Dick and Jane and the first word you learned, the biggest word of all: LOOK . Everything you need to know is in there somewhere. The Golden Rule and love and basic sanitation, ecology and politics and sane living.

Think of what a better world it would be if we all - the whole world - had cookies and milk about 3 o'clock every afternoon and then lay down with our blankets for a nap. Or if we had a basic policy in our nation and other nations to always put things back where we found them and clean up our own messes. And it is still true, no matter how old you are, when you go out into the world, it is best to hold hands and stick together.

oh and to all my followers who need a little giggle and some extra love today here is my friendship prayer for you.
