Random Thought Monday

OK as you can see I've changed the name of my Monday post again. I know what your thinking woman get a grip and make up your mind. well I can't but this title sounds better as on Monday's I always seem to ramble on about a little of everything so hence random thoughts did sound better beside all the cool kids are doing it. You all know who you are you might do it on different days but you know you do it.

well Saturday I had a yard sale and yes I froze my butt off seriously it was cold. I mean really I know for a fact my dad moved us down here to the land of sunshine some 30years ago to be where it was warm but I swear it gets colder every year that or I'm getting older. Nope it's colder I refuse to be older. the yard sale went well didn't bring much back which was great even got rid of that elliptical machine that was in my closet mocking me.

as for Sunday not much happened other then I about took out a young couple for being closed minded but that's another post in it' self.

I also came to the realization that in exactly 22 days from today I will officially be the big 40. WOW time sure had passed quickly and I'm running or rather tumbling pretty quickly down the hill. Don't get me wrong I'm not upset or freaking out about turning 40 as a matter of fact i'm celebrating it even though people now refer to me as that older woman. I feel blessed No actually I feel triumph about turning 40. For a girl who was told at 17 she would never see her 18th birthday I'm thinking "Look at me now bitches who got the last laugh". Okay so maybe that doesn't sound right coming from an old white woman but you get the picture I'm rather excited to know that with all the what ifs and the I don't know from all the doctors to still be standing and going strong makes me pretty damn happy.

Hello my lovelies hope the week has been good to you. as you read this post I will be freezing my A$$ off downtown at sprinkle field where I will be attempting to have a yard sale. Yep I actually finished cleaning out closets and sheds this week now to get rid of the stuff. SO if you don't hear from me for a few days that means I'm frozen somewhere and haven't thawed out.

Friday Confessional 11-4-11

  

I Confess it was I who spammed your comment boxes yesterday

 

I confess I did this because I was trying to catch up on everything you had written because like most of you this week was busy due to Halloween and things.

 

I Confess I also went to bad wife jail yes it's true why you may be asking well

 

I confess that during a rather extreme game of pin wife to bed and tickle her game which by the way is so not cool I might have accidentally made contact with hubby's prizes jewels with my knee..OUCH!!!

 

I Confess to also maybe giggling about it while he was doubled over in pain okay okay

 

I Confess I didn't giggle I was doubled over can't catch my breath type laughter at his pain

 

I Confess I should have been more kind and sympathetic to his discomfort but it was to funny listening to him curse and mutter

 

I Confess I have nothing more to say.

Thursday's Thoughts

Inspiration~Stimulation of the mind or emotions to a high level of feeling or activity.

This is how the dictionary defines the word inspiration. For me inspiration is what happens when things around me inspire me to write or create. I love when everyday things set of a spark of imagination a word, a phrase, a song, a place or even a wonderful written and directed web series. I love when imagination takes flight and words come together to create. For me sometimes those words come quickly and freely. while other times it take patients and alot of rewrites to get what is in my head out to paper. that is what happen with this poem. It originally was inspires a few weeks back when I was watching the final episode of Husbands if you haven't seen it you should it is a wonderfully written and acted web series staring the talented Brad Bell aka Cheeks and Sean Hemeon. They play this wonderfully crazy couple who find themselves married after a drunk night in Vegas. Now they have to figure out how to handle it. It is heartwarming and funny. Anyways it led to this little poem that I hope you will enjoy and yes I know the series if fun and uplifting but as you all know I rarely write fun stuff.

Two Hearts

Two hearts collide in the night

 intertwined in passion

dancing to the unheard rhythm

clinging to one another

like vines on a tree

scared of what will be

of what could be

knowing that in a moment all

could be over

gone in an instant

but morning light breaks

like a star in the night sky

guiding them home

safe within each others arm

1. How did you celebrate Halloween? Trick or treating? Adult party? Trunk or treat? Took little man trick or treating

2. What candy is your favorite/the first thing you steal from the kids? Kit Kat

3. What kind of candy do you give out, is it your favorite? or something you know you won't be tempted to eat? i don't give out candy because I live in the woods so no one comes to my house

4. How soon after Halloween do you take down decorations and put away costumes? The day after Halloween.

5. When do you decorate for the next holiday? Usually within a day or two after the previous one like right now I'm decorated for thanksgiving

No this is not my mantle my house is never this organized

Good Eats: Yum Yum Brownie Muffins

This is a super-simple super-easy 2-ingredient recipe that is sure to please everyone.

Ingredients:

1 box devil's food cake mix
1 can solid pack pumpkin (15 oz.)

Mix the two ingredients together.

Don't add anything else that may be mentioned on the box, such as eggs, oil, or water. The mixture will be very thick and you will be tempted to add in other things to make the batter smoother. DO NOT DO THIS AS IT WILL RUIN EVERYTHING!

Spray muffin tin.

Place batter into muffin tins.

Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes 12 regular.

Serve anyway you want personally i like them warm with a glass of milk or coffee. bon appetit
