Glad to hear you had such a good day Becca, I'm with you on that flowers thing, it is kind of stupid to buy something that does die in what's relatively no time at all.

I agree with you on the flowers. On occasion it's nice to get them, but don't over do it.
Great answers. My Mother would give me a box of chocolate from her and my dad in the morning. But, my dad would come home from work and give me a special box just from him. I loved V Day as a kid! Now it's just another day really. Who knows what the future brings.

I love to hear that your days was fabulous! I hope EVERY day is just as fabulous! I love tulips...even more so because I can replant the bulbs...now getting them to actually grow again is a whole other issue lol
I just put my decorations up yesterday! I completely forgot but my kids didn't let me off the hook!

Mmmm...chocolates! I didn't get any chocolates, but my kids got enough for all of us to share (whether they like it/know it or not)! I love white roses but I don't know that I've ever actually gotten any. Happy heart!
So pleased your day was a great one. I rarely get flowers (Well I am a man!), but last year I received two bunches! Both were very "masculine" kinds of flowers. One was for my birthday, given to me by another man, and the other for a very special occasion, from a group of ladies! I really appreciated that.
I make a homemade card. Well photoshop kinda helps.
I buy everyone a small box of chocolates too! I also love White roses, my wedding bouquet was just white roses!
Mmmm chocolate! I had cinnamon rolls ready for the kiddos V-Day morning, and some neat little fun treats at their breakfast spots, but that is about the extent of V-Day celebrations around here.
