Sunday 160 Redux

I decide to hook up with my girl sharika to play along with her Sunday 160 redux.

1. SUNDAY 160 REDUX only uses 160 characters (including spaces)
2. You may write a story, poem , haiku or anything as long as it comesin a package of 160 characters (including spaces)!
3. Then you will link up HERE and just have fun.
4. You may do just one 160 or a set of 160. It is up to you!
6. Play nice and visit others.

they say clowns are happy
that they are here to make us laugh
be silly, be funny
but how does one laugh
at someone who has
a painted on smile
covering the pain

This is so true Becca and means a lot even in a metaphorical sense. There's so many people in real life who paint a smile over themselves when really they're miserable inside, I've been there in the past myself, awesome post, love how you made those 160 characters work!

So sorry I am late. Hubby , Jasmine and I are pretty down with the whole flu nine yards.

Now, my dearest Becca. YOU ROCK THE 160!!!! Great job, nay EXCELLENT JOB!!!

It is so true you know, I have seen a few real clowns myself and I know for a fact that not all of them are not happy, it is so sad. Someone with such a disposition can suffer so much too.

Great write, Becca!Welcome to the SUNDAY 160 REDUX!!!

See you next week?
Have you a truly blessed Sunday and week ahead, sweetie!

hugs with much love,

Great Job and this reminded me of Send in the Clowns, for some reason. I can't explain it but love it :)

I am not good at keeping things brief so 160 characters would be bloody hard for

Hi becca and Shakira,

Becca, my dear friend and your prose, an analogy for the tears of a clown.

May you have a peaceful day.

In kindness, Gary

Unfortunately, I do tend to agree. Those clowns that make others happy are not necessarily happy themselves.
Good piece.
