Blaze of Glory by M. Garzon

**All photos, bio and/or videos come from the author's website HERE and I own nothing but my own personal opinion of the book.**

m. garzon rode horses professionally for ten years, until an injury prompted a career change. She returned to school and completed a BSc; then, for good measure, an MBA. After several years of toiling as a business consultant, she turned to writing in a desperate bid to regain her sanity. A mom of two fabulous children, she lives in St‑Lazare, QC and is currently working on the sequel to Blaze of Glory

Blaze of Glory by M. Garzon is a book described as a horse related romance I found it more to be a coming of age story. Tea is a strong willed girl who tends to act first think later. This has gotten her into trouble. Her twin brother Seth is funny and compassionate. Together they are all the blood family they have left. In this story these characters have see lots of tragedy and it brings them closer. It also brings Tea closer to another family member which is what leads to a forbidden romance.

The back covers reads: "Some fires can consume you.
Last year, I had it all. Two jumpers on the show circuit, a lot of wins, and a lot of attention - the good kind. But now I have nothing. My life is circling the drain. The only spark of light that exists for me is my new, forbidden passion. If my stepfather finds out, he will kill me. My twin brother, my only blood relative in the world, has already begged me not to. But I can't help myself. If it can't be horses, it has to be this..."

For me over all the book was good. I enjoyed it very much and pretty much didn't put it down once I started it. I loved the characters they were well written, the story line flowed nicely and moved easily. I was able to follow along and it kept my interest. I really liked the relationship between Tea and her brother Seth. As for the forbidden romance part I would say it is all in the readers perception as the characters are not blood related. It really was a fabulous book and I can see why it has been tapped for possible TV series. I would recommend it and give it one and half thumbs up.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I know today it is unheard of to marry a first cousin but many, many moons ago it was nothing, funny how times change and what was considered 'normal' in one era is now taboo!
