Weighing In Wk#3

Everyday Life
Hello my friends and fellow supporters. I have to start off by saying this week posed my greatest challenge our annual Christmas party with family. It's an all weekend thing that starts Saturday afternoon with make your own pizza party, then Christmas cookie decorating, followed by a Sandwich bar for dinner and popcorn that night with Christmas movies. Then Sunday morning starts with a pancake breakfast, finger food for lunch and finally presents. Needless to say it was rough and I didn't do so well though I did try to use portion control and I did save all my weekly bonus points for this weekend. I also try to make sure I kept moving so I earned activity points even got the kids to play Wii dance with me so not good but not terribly all bad. I did end the week with no bonus points left but I didn't use any activity points.

I can say this week will be much better because there are no parties, no going anywhere and I will be making Christmas dinner for my family so I'll have control over food and point values. So overall I wasn't really happy with my eating this week but I'm proud of myself for tracking all my food and not just giving up and giving in. Plus I'm getting right back on track instead of stopping. So onward I go.

So here is the over all stats for this week:

Beginning Weight ~ 196
Last Weeks Weight ~ 188
This Weeks Weight ~ 187
Total loss this Week ~ -1
Total Loss to Date ~  -9

Last Weeks Goals:

1. Drink at least 8 glasses of water
2. walk at least 20 minutes a day
3. Find one nice things to tell myself a day

This Weeks Goals:

1. Drink at least 8 glasses of water
2. Exercise at least 20 minutes a day
3. Find one nice things to tell myself a day

Now remember guys feel free to hook  up your post all week about what your doing health wise. All post are welcome anything related to being healthy exercise, diet, recipes and especially your own weight loss journey we are all here to help and support. Also if you have time be sure and visit others to give them some encouragement we can all use a helping hand.

A small loss is better than a gain and considering the time of year, I think you are amazing

I agree one hundred percent with Mynx, so long as your making a loss every single week and not gaining anything then it can be viewed as a success. With that said keep on pushing this out Becca. Remember your reasons for going on this journey and fully pursue them. We all have faith in you, just keep on going and you will achieve success. Do not give up on us.

You go girl!!! Keep up the great work. Don't be hard on yourself. Christmas time is the hardest for trying to stay on a diet. You are doing great!

1-2lbs lost per week is the safe goal so you're right on track!! Way to go! And in your drinking water, are you giving up pop?

A loss on the scale of dieting is always better.

Keep your chin up and focused. And honestly as you set a goal, treat yourself. Work and reward keeps us going.

It is amazing to still lose weight during the holidays! Remember: Calories don't come free! Enjoy the holiday food, but moderation is key! I keep telling myself that, because I don't want to go crazy with all the Southern goodies I will have while home. Haha

I agree Becca that a small loss is much better than any gain. You really were remarkable with all that food around not to put on several ounces!

Well hey hey hey I had no idea you were doing this. Where the hell have I been. I had a Thursday thing about my weight, but no one was really interested nor wanted to join me except maybe one girl so now I just post every now & then I was going to get a sleeve, but found out today hubby is against it because everyone who messes with me usually it goes sour. I've been on a pre-diet and my own diet & to date I have lost 49 lbs., but I still have 75 more to go, but I'd be happy with 60. Don't be hard on yourself when you cheat just say I'll do better the next day, but the key is portion control & keeping busy. Good luck my friend.

Well, at least you didn't do TOO horrible with overindulging; you did lose 1 lb, which is still a loss in my opinion :)

Keep up the good work!

Speaking of water, I need to drink some more-Thanks for the reminder!

You're being too hard on yourself! You lost a pound in a week where you had to struggle. Others would have gained. Congratulations on 1 pound weight loss for the week. I hope you're able to tell yourself something nice for the coming week.

I think your're doing fantastic and you should be proud of yourself... this time of year is especially hard to keep up with a diet or personal weight loss program... Keep it up!
